Outerknown was started by 11-time world champ Kelly Slater, who wanted surfwear that didn't cost the ocean he'd spent his life in. The label uses organic cotton and recycled fibres throughout the range. The result is a wardrobe of pieces that look better the more you wear them.

The Outerknown Blanket Shirt

The Blanket Shirt is the one most people know. It's a heavy, soft flannel overshirt made for cold mornings in the carpark, and it also works as a light jacket from autumn through spring.

Boardshorts, tees and everyday layers

The Apex Evolution Trunk is Kelly's own performance boardshort, with stretch and a fitted waist built for proper surfing. Around it you'll find the core range: pocket tees and graphic tees like the Tom Blake Photo Tee, the Team Hoodie for post-surf layering, the Short Sleeve Artist Oxford, and 5-panel and trucker caps.
